MARY JO CARDWELL POOLE

13 August 1924 - 26 December 2009

Our family has been changed forever.  Mary Jo Poole, our Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, friend, confidante and personal cheering squad has passed from this life into the next.  She slipped quietly away with family around her, surrounded with the love she brought into each of our lives.  

We are tremendously saddened.  But we are grateful that she was able to be at home, being herself until a week or so before her death.  We are also so very blessed that she was a part of each of us, that she cared so much about each of us, and that her love enriched all who knew her.

We want to use this site to provide information that we hope will be helpful to you, such as plans for her

photographs and memories of her.  We’d like to invite you to add memories, stories and pictures of Mary Jo that have brought a smile to you; this site will become a place to celebrate what she brought to all our lives.  Please email anything you’d like to share to skip@yellowscarf.net and we’ll include them here.

Thank you for your prayers and loving thoughts.

We will miss terribly her presence in our daily lives, but we know that her love and her heart will be with us always.
