MARY JO CARDWELL POOLE

13 August 1924 - 26 December 2009

In 1985, as a gift for Skip, Mom read through an entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments (probably not the first time she’d done that).  She highlighted passages and wrote her thoughts in the margins.  When she was done she wrote:

“And so I finished reading on this day, June 5, 1985.  With the reading of each page my thoughts were, ‘God bless the reading of your word - Let each of my loved ones’ names be forever in your book of remembrance. Lift each of my children up where they belong.”

May God Bless you and keep you ever in His love.    Mom”

 MOM -

God has blessed us - by giving us the joy of sharing your life with us.

We know too, that God has blessed you - and that you will be forever in His book of remembrance.  He has lifted you up where you belong.

Now as we learn to live without you at our side, we pray that He will bless all of us and will keep you, our family, and all whose lives you have touched forever in His love.

 We love you always.

We are thinking of you. My heart is heavy for your loss and the grief you will endure. Our love is with you and what a wonderful woman; she brought many fabulous men into my life and this world! I thank God for her life and love.

 XOXOXOXO~~ Christi

I am so very sad to lose such a great loving person in our lives; like you, knowing it's inevitable doesn't make it any easier. She was/is so very special. I haven't stopped thinking about her since I found out. Just so very happy the kids got to see her at Easter - and will remember how very wonderful she is.
